With a desk below a twin bed, this loft bed with a workstation is ideal for your kid's bedroom. The desk makes it especially easy to do homework, as they have a quiet space to focus in their own bedroom. With side shelfing to store books and study essentials and a slide out keyboard tray for their computer or laptop. Above, a twin-size bed frame provides the perfect foundation for a bed, as support slats are included and no box spring is needed. Easily access the bed on either side, as both ends have a ladder. The sleek design is made of sturdy metal, with the desk and shelves constructed of high-grade MDF.
Great Loft Bed...
Rec'd the bed ( 2 long, heavy boxes...call a friend) promptly after ordering even with the Xmas rush.
Assembling the bed was a "piece of cake". Actually, this has been the only product that I've had to assemble recently that had all the "nuts and bolts" required (IKEA..you listening?). Usually, parts are missing and I have to raid my supplies in the garage. This time, no such problem. Everything needed for assembly (even the hex keys w/ball drivers) were included. That was a pleasant surprise. Every piece fit together perfectly and the mounting screws all tightened securely (with no stripped inserts).
Once completed, the loft bed and the desk look great. Most importantly, the "structure" is very stable. I (all 6'1" 205# of me) 'hung' all over that bed trying to get it to fail, tip over, any negative event before putting my daughter in it.
Well, lo and behold, the bed is secure...and so is my daughter!JustStuff
We love the bed. The bed has a walls which makes it a bit difficult to get in and out other than that we love it.
During assembly it is very important that the bottom rack of the bed is installed correctly, keeping in mind that shelves are to be installed to one of the poles going down.MssJg
Good product, my son likes it.
Within the expectations, nice long desk. The product comes in as two parts with independent instruction for assembly. Need great caution not to get things reversed when doing the loft part, or you will end up repeating it when adding the desk part on.yanbo2014
