Enjoy a good nights sleep on this Value Polyester-Filled 6" Twin Mattress with Jacquard Cover. It's made with cotton for superior breathability. This DHP twin mattress is filled with polyester, offering an alternative to innerspring mattresses. It's suitable for use on bunk beds, trundles and daybeds. This mattress has a simple, yet functional design that combines comfort, support and quality for a restful night. It features a firm solid surface that offers extra support, making it a good choice for stomach and back sleepers. This flame-retardant mattress also has a reversible design that allows for even wear on both sides for long-lasting use. It can be used on its own or with a bed frame.
Most of the reviews indicate the mattress is hard. It's hard...which also means it's durable and not a bag of mush. The quality of the product is uncommon for a $99 mattress, and it's construction will last. Great kids mattress (for our daughter), great spare room mattress. Obviously for the money, not something you'd buy for a master bedroom, but for a guest or everday mattress for a twin, it's an excellent buy, and higher quality than others found here or at other online retailers.
The site to store option is quick, and the mattress arrives in a sturdy plastic wrapper and light enough to carry out of the store without a cart.
The covering is durable and not flimsy, and the core is firm (not cardboard hard). Don't think of packing styrofoam, think of very firm memory foam, kinda spongy but not like the kind you can break apart easily (that's the core) covered with a softer outer fabric. It will conform to your body slightly, but not like a coil spring mattress of all foam mattress.
We searched for several mattress, at Walmart and at other online and local retailers, and found most beds (we only needed a top mattress) came with cheap 'box' springs (cardboard over frame covered in cloth) and foamy flimsy top mattresses covered in inferior cloth or patterns that looked like they belonged in the wild west. Most were $150 and up. This product has a nice outer fabric that is not out-dated in appearance, and although the core is much firmer than a spring mattress, exceeds our expectations in a price to value comparison. It's firmness can be compensated for with a pillow top foam accessory, and even with that added expense if desired, still creates a better, higher quality result than other products we looked at.Echo5
I never thought about buying mattresses online but I decided to give it a try and I was more than satisfied. The price the looks was more than my expectation. I bought two for the bunk beds and because they are firm so my 5 & 8 year old girls can't use them as trampoline mattresses. Just what I wanted and you won't be disappointed.ladyj2k13
Great base mattress to support a topper!
Great product and is as described. The only problem I had was with the shipping. Looks like it was dragged by one person which caused the clear plastic bag cover to tear in one corner exposing the mattress corner to dirt. Didn't want to drag it back to the store and wait for a replacement so I cleaned it up the best I could and put that side against the wall because I only needed it to support a mattress topper and the cover could be washed later. It probably should have been boxed after being bagged to provide additional protection during one man transport. However, the quality of the mattress and the price make it worth the risk. Recommend it highly!animaluvr
