I like the mattress it came out like a very large sleepin bag but it was easy to open and comfy that night. I put a 400 thread count bed cover on it and it was very comfy. I really like it. It is my new full size bed and im lovin it.ppliowa
Do not buy this mattress!
I read all the reviews and thought I would give this mattress a try. It is for my daughter who is 5 and I sometimes sleep with her when need be. Well we got it and couldn't wait to open it and watch the "fun" happen. It was fun to open it. Once we got it on the bed and laid down it was "wow" this is nice. We have almost had this bed for a month and the fun has worn off. I slept with her for about 4 hrs one night and woke up the next morning feeling like I had slept on a bad hotel bed. (we have a full size) I could feel every spring and when we sit on the edge to put on shoes it doesn't support very well. I had to buy a mattress topper to add to it to make it more comfy. Even my daughter has been waking up in the morning telling me her back hurts and I told her nothing about mine. I am only 5'7 and 130 lbs this mattress should support me. =) Spend a little extra and get a better mattress. If we had a bigger car/truck we probably would have taken it back. Don't buy this mattress even for your kids.kristy55
the mattess is fine
My wife did not want me to order these but I did. You see we have three grandkids and needed new matteresses in the XL twin version. I could not see paying the price for 3 of them at other stores so I decided on my own to order these. My wife did not want matteressess that were rolled up when delivered. My thought is how can they possibly roll up a matteress before shipping, so I ordered them. Sure enough they arrived all rolled up. The trick here is that basically they are put into air tight packages and all air is vacuumed out "completely vacuum tight package" once there is absolutely no air in the pack they can be easily rolled like a sleeping bag and are done in such a manner as to keep the inner springs in line without damage to the matteress. When you put a cut into the vacuum tight package you will immediately hear the air fill the package and the matterss begins to unroll itself and take shape. The kids, ages 7, 8 and 9 have been sleeping for 3 weeks now without complaint. It might be helpfull to add a pillow topper pad, but it is not really necessary.Anickname4me
A mattress for truck drivers!!
I purchased this mattress for our 1996 Peterbilt. First I measured the mattress tray in the truck and needed a 75" x 39" mattress. I went to our local Walmart and they had one on the shelf. I bought it. Stuck it in the trunk of my Camery and took it home all by myself (and I am a small lady!) When I got home, my husband pulled it out of the box, tossed it up into the truck through the side door; then I literally just trimmed all of the plastic off. It began to rise up and lay out flat and was ready for sheets literally in less than 2 minutes! One of the easiest things I've had to do toward getting the truck ready for the road! After I got the bed dressed out, I asked my husband to try it out... HE LOVED IT! He said finally he had a mattress he could sleep on that didn't make him feel as bad when he woke up as he did when he laid down! When that one wears out we will definately buy another one!!96Peterbilt
A great basic mattress
I did quite a bit of comparison shopping online, and this offering from Wal Mart seemed to be the best bang for the buck. I was not disappointed! One minor caveat, though. When delivered, one's first impression is that this could not possibly be what I ordered. The packaging is so compact that it doesn't seem possible that a mattress is in there. Trust me, it is! When I finally weaseled it out of it's zippered shipping satchel (which is sturdy enough to be used for luggage in a pinch!), I punctured the plastic bag surrounding the mattress, and with a mighty WHOOSH it attained the full shape and dimensions one would expect in a mattress. It was a wonder to behold.Hellotaxi
