Awesome mattress!
I just received the Modern Sleep Cool Gel 6" Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Mattress in the twin size for my daughter and she loves it! The memory foam keeps her cool at night while she sleeps by drawing the heat away from her body. It also is firm yet soft enough that you don't have backaches in the morning. I slept on the bed to try it out for myself and it was great! The mattress came in a small box, rolled up and vacuum-sealed in plastic. The box is small enough for you to move around when you first get it. Once you take the mattress out of the box, you cut the first layer of plastic off, then roll it out flat and CAREFULLY cut the vacuum-sealed plastic off and watch the mattress start to “rise.” You have to let the mattress sit for about 24-48 hours so it gets to the maximum size it can. One thing I don't like about this mattress, is that it doesn't have handles on the sides of it so you can easily carry it from room to room if you need to BUT it is a twin size so it wasn't that big of a deal! Bottom line, I would DEFINETLY buy this mattress because it is AMAZING!NiZoo
No denial…it's a spinal WUNDERBAR sleep!
Shopping for a mattress always gives me a headache. The prices, the choices, the brands and when does it ever end? After receiving this ‘Modern Sleep Cool Gel 6 Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Mattress'; that battle and headache is now totally GONE! I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in the market for a new mattress. Please note: you should replace that mattress of yours every 8-10 years. It's because your mattress will double in weight during that time due to sweat and dust mites, yucky but true. Some are wondering if this would function well with bunk-beds and I say YES! It's got to be the perfect mattress for bunk-beds as well as; any other regular size bed for your master-bedroom or guest room in my opinion: as they are sold in various sizes and thickness.
I've already recommended this mattress to my family and friends. Personally I like the best of both worlds when sleeping on a mattress; it should be firm yet soft too. In order to completely achieve such a product, this (firm & soft) ratio combination must be: a unique blend of quality fabric/material and precise manufacturing…for which I assure you ‘Modern Sleep' has just nailed that one! I awaken relaxed, with absolutely no muscle aches/cramps. Lately, after sleeping on my old mattress, made by a very well known/respected company and it's only a few years old, my neck felt stiff and tight; as if a llama ran over the back of my head.
The ‘Modern Sleep Cool Gel 6 Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Mattress' provides for me the quality sleep I need each and every night; I awaken feeling completely recharged and ready for whatever the friction of the new day may bring. Modern Sleep effortlessly earns FIVE stars based on their quality, price, durability, comfort, construction and 25 year warranty!

This is a surprisingly great mattress. My youngest daughter is about to transition from a crib to a low-sitting, twin size bed. This bed tops all others in our house. If feels so dense and thick. It feels like a luxury mattress that costs at least 5 times as much. We've only had the mattress for about a week or so; and each member of our family of 5 has already taken a nap on it…and my 3 year old son has slept in it several nights (preferring it over his own bed).
I have a high arch in my lower back that makes back-sleeping very uncomfortable for me. But I've been having a lot of shoulder/arm pain lately from my regular side-sleeping. I have owned a waterbed long ago that was awful. After that, I owned a full-size thick 10”-12” plush mattress that was nice at 1st, or so I thought. Now, my husband and I own a firm queen size pillow-top mattress; and we gave the full to my teenage daughter. My son has a rinky-dink twin mattress. It's a little bit backwards, but my youngest now has THE BEST mattress in the house. I love this mattress. My daughter loves it and wants to downsize her bed to it. It is EXTREMELY comfortable for back-sleeping, which is how I want to start sleeping each night. But I just can't get comfortable that way…except on this new mattress. I think at tax time each year, we're going to upgrade one or two of our mattresses to this specific kind, in our suited size(s), until we all have these. When I bought my previous full-size mattress, I went around the whole store and laid on nearly all of the beds. This one feels just as nice as the top of the line expensive one in the store.
Every time I lean onto the mattress with my knee to crawl onto the bed to rest or play on it, or to tuck my daughter in, I just can't believe how nice it is. It's been on my mind for the last 2 years that I need to really invest into a good bed soon. Both my husband and I are sore a lot. He's 140 lbs. and I'm 110 lbs. We are not sore from obesity thankfully, but we have back and neck problems a lot. We've tried several different pillows but cannot afford the very expensive mattresses out on the market. I am completely shocked and thankful that I was given the opportunity to try this out. I now know that comfortable back-sleeping CAN be attained at an affordable price.
I haven't owned this long enough to know how long this quality of sleep and posture alignment will last, but I'm so impressed by it, that I believe I would continue to purchase this same mattress over and over as necessary, if/when it became worn out. It feels much thicker/supportive than any 6” mattress. I didn't notice any perks or truth to the “cool-gel-claim”. But that doesn't change my partiality towards the comfortableness of this mattress.
I'm not sure if this has a weight limit or not. Nor am I sure if you're supposed to rotate this every month or so, but I have heard that that may help maximize the life of a mattress, especially one that has any kind of memory foam in it. This has 3 different layers in it, but I can't tell. I just know it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever laid/slept on…and it supports/fills-in my lower back arch very nicely; but without “sinking-in”. I honestly wasn't expecting this type of quality. I am OVERLY IMPRESSED!
This is my personal opinion, but I think sleep is underrated. It is very important that growing children have good support during their growing years. Good sleep and support is essential to adults in regards to the long-run of mobility. When you hurt, you stiffen up…and it creates this vicious bad habit of sleep cycles. Being curled up starts to become what is more comfortable and that's messed up. I'm glad I found this while I'm in my 30's so I can try to break/reverse the poor posture habit that I've been falling into.mollydogggggggggggggggggg
