I have purchased 4 of these covers. I have had them for over a year and they have been washed many, many times. This is what I can now tell you about them: The peach and tan ones are satin, NOT microfiber. As with typical satin, they are hotter in the summertime and they will snag on rough skin, zippers, etc. They are, however, beautiful and well made and are easy to maneuver under the covers as they kind of slide to wherever you need them (I find this a plus!). The solid blue and mint patterned ones are, in fact, microfiber. They are made with good quality, sturdy microfiber fabric and wash well without pilling. Because they are microfiber they adhere to the sheets some and are more difficult to move around under the covers. They stay put. So, if you are wanting your body pillow to travel the bed with you, get the satin. If you want it to stay where you put it all night, get the microfiber. Either way, you will be pleased with the quality and durability.Dovesouls
