Some pieces were welded porrly, looks like they were previously broken..not sure how long they will holdCheabed
One of the main post was damaged in two places. I also wish it was a little sturdier. It looks great and the girls love it. Tons of headroom for the bottom brdMomm
A million pieces and dented ones included.
I was so excited to order this bunk bed because it was so inexpensive for full bunks. Shipping from Walmart was great...got it before the expected delivery date. Opened the box and found one of the main poles to be dented like someone took an ax to it. The paint was flaking off in that spot. This was in no way something that happened during shipping. It was put in the box that way. I placed an order for a replacement part with the manufacturer and found out it will take 7-14 days to get it!!! The millions of pieces that come with this bed are all over my kids' floor waiting to be put together. EVERY bar that you see that would support the mattress needs to be screwed into the main bars on either side. There are literally 68 bars that need to be assembled and about 400 screws, etc. I hope the end product is worth it, but I would never recommend this product to anyone. If I didn't have to wait in line for an hour at Walmart's return department....it would be going back.Loveiskind
My kids were super excited to finally get bunk beds. I was happy to get them too. The build was easy enough, with simple instructions. They look great. However, the frame isn’t as sturdy as I would have liked it to bed. Its very shaky if one of the kids moves, which causes concern as a parent.
The head room for the bottom bunk is more than sufficient, but the top bunk has a severe lack of head room. My 4 year old enjoys the extra space on the bottom bunk, but my daughter on the top bunk has to be careful to not sit up too much for fear of hitting her head on the ceiling.
My 11 year old daughter complains that the ladder rungs hurt her feet when she goes up and down from the top bunk, so I advise getting something to cover them to spare your kids feet.
Last but not least, there is absolutely no guard rail to help keep the bottom bunk mattress in place. My kid is very active and every time he slides onto his bed, his mattress slides a little bit. I’m forever having to replace it because of the lack of guard rails.Lirici
regret buying a metal bunk bed
The bunk bed came a day or two earlier than when it was supposed to be delivered. Setting up the bed was simple, as long as you follow the instruction guide. The metals, at first glance, I thought were very slim and flimsy-looking, and some of the metal parts were already bent from shipping. I was worried that if the metals that make up the bunk bed can't handle the weight against each other while inside its package and are being dented, then, how can they endure the weight of my adult-size brothers without falling apart? This metal bunk bed doesn't look sturdy at all; the whole frame wobbles whenever the person sleeping on the top bunk bed moves, and climbing up the ladder hurts terribly because of the hard surface of the metal pressing against your feet. This was my first time shopping for bunk beds, and I am not planning to buy any more metal bunk beds. I'm going to stick to the more sturdy and more comfortable wooden bunk beds.home143
