Fantastic loft bed
We bought three of these beds. They give us so much extra space and are super sturdy. My kids love them. My only issue is the ladder hurts your feet when you climb up. Definitely worth the money!Kelli
Amazingly Fun Bed
I moved into a great house that unfortunately had a very small room for my son. This bed helped us to fully utilize the space and keep it organized. He loves it because it's fun. I love it because it's efficient.Nielah
Nice looking loft bed!
Bought this bed for my daughter and she LOVES it! She decorated it with small lights. I sure wish the tool to put it together wasn't an Allen Wrench though - rough on the hands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]Ann Marie
This bed makes a difference!!!
Purchased this item for our Daughter's 12th bday. The bed is very well made (heavy/sturdy) the instructions are the best we ever had putting something like this together and switching from a regular twin bed to this freed up so much room!!! We are 5 stars happy with this purchase!! The price is very fair at $279 and free shipping to home!! A regular twin mattress with springs will fit perfectly (no more than 6" high). The desk area is the perfect size for a laptop and chair and the shelves are a perfect size for displaying anything!!!Unable to upload photos :( The only thing we didn't like is the width of the steps, having to crawl over the bed railing to get into the bed and the steps are hard on the feet (I cut foam swim noodles and hot glued them over the rungs)
We recommend this bed to anyone wanting to create more room in a small space and some WOW! factor!!!Goodluckladybug
DHP Studio Loft Bed
This was a VERY easy loft bed to put together. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS or it will not go together correctly. My son is almost 19 and he loves this bed. He has plenty of room underneath . Lots of shelves to make this area a teen paradise.Margie
Easy to put together great instructions my 10 year old son loves this bed.We added pool noodles to the stairs of the bed and glued them in ,works perfectly. All together a great buy!!!!Alex
This bed is awesome!
I bought this for my daughter. It is perfect. Very sturdy. She is 135lbs and it doesn't move. It stands high and the desk and shelves are big. The only drawback is the ladder. It hurts your feet! It was a pain to put together the directions aren't very clear about how the long poles are supposed to face, there are holes on 2 sides. Ended up having to take them all off and starting over. It took me about an hour and a half to put together, with help from my daughter.Mommyof4
First, this bed is charcoal gray, not remotely like silver. It is also extremely difficult to make the bed...as in tucking in the sheets and blankets. Beware -- this is a very high loft and if you have a ceiling fan you want to place the bed carefully. Final negative: the rungs on the ladder are skinny and painful on grownup feet. However, my teen boys LOVE this bed. "Mom, this is the room of my dreams," was the first thing I heard when they saw the new bed. I added a memory foam mattress and the slats are sufficient that no box spring is needed. Very sturdy. I assembled it by myself, but you really want help with the first few steps to avoid tears of frustration.DeeM
easy to assemble, very functional
This bed does take a couple of hours to assemble. But, that should be expected. It went together easily and is very functional for my son. The rails on the top are higher than I thought they would be. We bought a 5 inch think memory foam mattress so that he would be comfortable and not worry about falling out. He was very happy to see the high rails and how secure he would be.
My only complaint is the steps are narrow and uncomfortable on my feet. The intent is for this bed to grow with him. So, we'll see if the steps hurt his feet once he is a teenager.esweet
This bed is made with very cheap components. The metal is very thin and bends very easy.
Three of the parts came damaged. I called the number in the manual and they seemed like they're willing to work with me, but I'm still waiting for the replacement parts.
Once assembled it is very wobbly, unstable.
I'm not sure about this purchase. I don't see it lasting to long, we'll see.Neddy
