A little bigger than expected but great bed!
Got this bed a lil over a year ago when my daughter was 2 years 2 months and she loves it! Was worried about the slide and ladder for sleeping so I put a king size pillow at the ladder end no worries! Even fell asleep a few times watching a movie - went down the slide with no problem. She has 6 cousins under 5 and they all enjoy hiding underneath which is great for hiding toy bins out of sight and playing on the slide. I had NO problems putting it together by myself, shipped in one box.ZYFooG
A fun Bed!
Bought this for my almost three year old. He loves it! He went from never sleeping in his toddler bed to sleeping in this bed about 50% of the time. It does take a few hours to put together. My husband was albe to do it with the help of my 10 year old. The tent material is nicer then I thought it would be it is a microfiber and the slide is metal. Our furniture store sells the same bed for $200 more, so the value is great!bradandchadsmom
There are alot of pieces to this bed, and some of the screws were the wrong size. Not to mention what a pain the slide is to put together! It took two of us, because some of the holes weren't drilled right, and we had to mess with it a little bit to get it to work right. However, the finished product looks even more amazing than the pictures shown here. They just don't do it any justice whatsoever! It's VERY sturdy, and even with three children playing on it, it doesn't budge! The fabric is extremely soft, and the kids LOVE every part. They love that they can slide down it, or play "cowboys and indians" with the "wagon" on the top. They love the "fort" underneath, where they can put toys, and play all day. And they love the little windows all over that they can play peek a boo through. It may be a slight pain to put together, but it's well worth the effort! Kids absoloutely love this bed 100%. I'm thinking Santa might be bringing one for the girls come Christmas time!chainey357
We have a very active 5 year-old... he is really hard on his belongings. So, we bought this bed hoping that it would last a year or two. We purchased it in March 2011 and it is still solid. The fabric and the velcro loops that hold the tent together are not made well (we found that double looping solved many of our problems with that though). There was a tear in the mesh window when it arrived. I emailed WalMart and they emailed the manufacturer who sent me a replacement within days. It was so easy and I never had to pick up my phone. My husband, who is pretty handy, put the bed together by himself in around 4 hours. The parts were all there and the directions made sense to him (although he does say that they weren't very specific).
My son loves this bed... and so does my two year old who wants to play in his room all the time now. This bed is so solid that it will last a long time. It also holds over the weight limit without issue. We plan to buy the pink version for our daughter next year since she loves her brother's bed so much. Awesome bed.GBWiscoMom
We have had this bed for almost 1 full year and it is still as good as new. We bought it for my son when he was 4 - at almost 5, he still loves it. When he has friends over, he always wants to show them his bed and all of the kids usually wind up playing a little rough (as boys will), this bed is extremely sturdy and has taken a LOT of abuse in the year we have had it. My 200 pound husband is also able to climb in bed and lay down next to my son with no worries about the bed. I would highly recommend. My husband is pretty handy and didn't have any issues at all putting the bed together.TerpMom11
