It is solid, easy to put together(2hrs) using a power drill. No way would I attempt this by hand. I have low ceilings so this worked out great! Love the bookshelf for storage. I did buy grip tape for the ladder so when my 5yr old climbs in footed pjs she doesn't slip. She loves this bed and sleeps very well.2006ChevyMalibu
Great, solid loft bed
Weâve owned this bed a little over a month now and couldnât be happier! One of the better bunks weâve owned. I appriciate that itâs not super high, so there is room to sit up in bed. I like that the railings are higher than most bunks so it fits an average size twin mattress. The extra storage shelves serve purpose (although I wish they were solid). A full size bed fits perfectly underneath. I highly recommend this bed!Vwsuz
Bed for 8yr
Easy to put together except 2 holes where off mark and had to make some adjustments to fit. Otherwise very good product and boys love it. Loft came as described in size and color.
However my boys were helping me and accidentally over tightened one of the screws which caused a crack in one of the slats. Easy fix with some wood glue but keep in mind make it snug it does not have to be overly tight or this will happen.amdunk
